目前的工作中,你最享受的部份是什麼?
如果要問我工作中最享受的是什麼,我想說,應該就是能接觸到形形色色的專案吧!我現在的職位是採購課長,除了日常的採購和供應鏈管理之外,我還負責一些專案的執行,範圍可以說是五花八門,從公司總務相關事項到新廠的建設,幾乎每一件都充滿挑戰,但也讓人非常有成就感。
說實話,我其實很喜歡挑戰那些看起來「不知道該從哪裡下手」的任務。很多人可能會覺得這種工作壓力很大,但對我來說,這就是一個不斷學習和成長的過程。每當我接手一個新專案,我總是抱著「學到一樣是賺到一樣」的心態,盡可能從中吸取新知識。有時候是建築規劃,有時候是機械設備的採購,甚至是跟總務相關的細節,只要能夠讓事情順利推進,我都會全力以赴。
遇到不懂的時候,我從不害怕詢問,因為我相信「問」是一種最快速的學習方式。我會去問廠商、問相關機構,甚至直接請教更專業的技術人員。這些專業人士的經驗,常常能讓我豁然開朗,有些事情看似複雜,但當你問對人、問對問題,就會發現原來還有更簡單的方法可以解決。
我覺得,現代科技雖然方便,但打電話這件事還是無可取代。遇到問題時,我的第一反應通常不是寫信或傳訊息,而是直接拿起電話跟對方溝通。對我來說,電話裡的即時互動,不僅能更快得到答案,還能透過對方的語氣和態度,了解更多書面文字中看不到的細節。有些時候,光是透過一通電話,我就能得到比預期更多的回饋,甚至會激發出意想不到的解決方案。

What do you enjoy most about your current job?
If you ask me what I enjoy most about my job, I would say it is the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. As a procurement manager, in addition to daily procurement and supply chain management, I am also involved in a wide range of projects, from corporate administrative tasks to the construction of new facilities. While nearly every task comes with its challenges, the rewards make it all worthwhile.
Honestly, I genuinely enjoy taking on tasks that seem like “you don’t know where to start.” Many people might find these tasks stressful, but I see them as an opportunity for growth and learning. Whenever I take on a new project, I always approach it with a mindset of “learning something new means gaining something valuable”. Whether it involves architectural planning, equipment procurement, or even general services processes. I am always willing to give it my all to ensure everything progresses smoothly.
I am always convinced that asking questions is the fastest way to learn. When I encounter something that I do not understand, I am not afraid to seek help from suppliers, organizations, or even technical experts. I find it beneficial if I ask the right person and frame the right question. Their experience often provides me with clarity and simpler solutions to tackle complex issues.
I believe that despite the advancements in technology, there is still no substitute for communication via a phone call. When I encounter an issue, my first reaction is to pick up the phone and talk to the person directly. For me, real-time interaction allows me to grasp nuances like tone of voice and attitude, offering insights that written communication cannot. Sometimes, I can have more feedback that I have not anticipated and even inspire incredible solutions.
This mindset of taking on challenges allows me to complete one project after another and makes my work incredibly fulfilling. Every time I see the results of a completed project, I feel a profound sense of accomplishment. Knowing that my efforts have contributed to the company’s productivity and improved the working environment for my colleagues is incredibly rewarding.
